Accomplishments: Since 1990, David Hansen has served as Senior Administrative Law Judge with the Office of Administrative Hearings in Spokane. In that capacity, he is responsible for conducting hearings and issuing written decisions in accordance with RCW Chapter 34.05. His practice is primarily devoted to the resolution of personal injury, disability and occupational hazard claims. His additional duties as Senior Judge require that he supervise a panel of Administrative Law Judges and office staff in their daily operations. Prior to becoming a judge, Mr. Hansen practiced law in Spokane and was involved in major class-action litigation as well as private civil matters.

In addition to Judge Hansen’s work at the Office of Administrative Hearings, he serves as an arbitrator for Washington’s Lemon Law Arbitration Board and as a member of the Spokane County Mandatory Arbitration Panel. As a mediator and arbitrator for WAMS, his practice focus is in the areas of personal injury and contract-based claims.
