Accomplishments: After gaining experience as an intern in the Labor & Industries division of the Attorney General’s office, Ms. Stone joined the Burgess Fitzer law firm in Tacoma. Her work has involved all aspects of file handling, including participation in all stages of the litigation process through mediation, arbitration and jury trials. She has served as Managing Shareholder of the firm from 1999 to 2007.

In addition to her litigation practice and management responsibilities, Ms. Stone serves as a sole and swing arbitrator in contract, MAR & UIM matters.

Prior to entering law school, Ms. Stone enjoyed an extensive career and increasingly responsible management positions in the automotive parts industry. Utilizing that experience, she now serves as an arbitrator of new motor vehicle claims filed pursuant to Washington’s Lemon Law statute.

Education: University of Puget Sound School of Law, JD, 1994; University of Washington, Political Science/History, BA, 1991.
